  1. on ur fists, clapping ur hands once between each push-up


  2. you should get some push up bars and lift light weights alot

  3. For a free alternative, do pushups, squats, pullups, lunges...etc...They're what the army do too, it's free and a good muscle toner/builder.

    Don't just tone your upper body, tone the whole thing, that's why I put others above.

  4. Use a pushing motion.

    Try buying some dumbells - there's loads of upper and lower body exercises you can do with them. They won't put too much muscle on, just a little extra which is what you're after.

  5. Well I have no idea how strong you are. So can start off doing absolute beginner push-ups.. bracing yourself on a wall and push away. Girl push-ups...where your on your knees...back straight...hands shoulder width apart and push. The normal push-ups... entire body straight...on your toes...again hand shoulder width apart and push. Start off with 4 sets of 12 push-ups... and increase the sets as you progress. Also... have you considered doing pull-ups?
