How should i draw this for my history project?

okayy my teacher wants a drawing of the life of someone living on the nile river or euphrates or tigris or indus or huang he river [back in old times]. but i dont know where to begin.

can someone please help me..

i googled stuff but i did not find anything.

please help with no stupid;smart;or sarcastic answers

  1. Well, lets see...

    I suggest you look for reference images in yahoo or google images. The best way to get inspired is to look at what you should be drawing. Start at the oldest information givers in the history of learning, "National Geographic". They should get your  project jumping :)


  2. Perhaps something surrealistic would be fun.

    I've always wanted to do a picture of a woman wearing a burka standing on a sand dune that takes the form of a nude woman.  Perhaps something similiar could work for your image?

    It sounds like you need some inspiration.  A spark.  

    You should google "Thomas Barbey" and take a look at some of his work.  I bet you could draw a lot from that.

  3. I don't know how involved you want to go get, but I'd say start at the library, they probably have a lot of great books about ancients times along any of those rivers.  Also, I would go to a museum of natural history if you have access to one.  They will probably have some helpful exhibits.
