Its ok.Many people are nervous about talking in front of people.Most of the time the people you are talking to are nervous about talking in front of people too.And usually people forget what you say so if you make a mistake people will probably forget about.

i have the same problem! i have actually been slowly getting over it for  the past year or so, i mean ACTUALLY because every other time i tried, but now i am! Try to hang with alot of ppl and if you dont usually, just answer small questions that the teacher asks, be the only one to raise your hand, it doesnt have to start with a report-you can start small..i talk to a few ppl and when there is a group with me i usually just speak out more, even if its just an "ok" or lol. hope this helps!

The process is called systematic desensitization.  Basically your start small and work your way up to public speaking.  Start by giving a speech to your stuffed animals or dolls (or action figures).  When you are comfortable with that, move on to one person that you trust.  Add more people as you feel more comfortable.  When you get up to about 6 or 7, have some of them act (in small doses) like the kids in your class.  Have them increase their behaviors as you can tolerate until it is similar to speaking in front of the class.

I've had the same problem throughout school. Just breathe...try to relax. Its okay to be nervous, but try not to let it show too much. Never look any one person in the face. Makes you just more nervous. Just try focusing on getting through your speech  or whatever you have to say. It will be over before you know it.
