How should i go about getting sponsored for snowboarding?

I ride a lot of park but i do it all. how can i get companies to sponsor me? i compete weekly at my local mountain and do well. i just can't get companies to notice me.

do you have any friends that are working at small restraunts, or gas stations? start small then go big, go in or make a call to the business, let them know what you are interested in, make a meeting to see what they think. If you are going to advertise it as you snowboard, sell each space and size for a different price. That will make you seem more prepared and profeional. hope this helps! =)

Make a sponsor tape, give it to your local skate shop (if they sell boards in the winter) Make sure you tell them in a note with the vid how you've placed in all your contests. If you get sponsored by your local shop and can get a part in the shop video, bigger companies will see you. Good luck man.
