How should i go about investing in NYSE / DOW Jones while sitting here in india?

  1. Do you have access to the internet?  If so, I'd suggest opening either an ameritrade, etrade or scottrade account.  Then, you'll be able to place trades in the US markets and won't have high broker fees.

    Also, you don't have to be a US citizen to have a trading account in America or to trade the US stock markets.  I work for a financial firm and we have thousands of accounts that are foreign.
