I have a piece of art from Jean-Claude Picot titled "Le Vase Bleu de Madrid". It was appraised 4 years ago at $530. I also had it professionally framed a few years ago. I am interested in selling it, but where would I even begin. I have no ties to the art community. I know I probably won't get the full appraised value, but how do I go about finding out how much it will bring, and if I am satisfied, where and how should I sell it.

  1. Try silkfair site for listing your art for free.

  2. Try ebay, you can list what you want for it, Then place the bid lower to get buyers to start biding and if it doesn't sell at the price you want, you don't have to sell it. Or the bids could be bettter than what you were asking, who knows maybe lots more. I have heard of people selling there kids old toys and made alot of money. Good luck

  3. Offer it to an art auction house, or see if a gallery would broker it, however they will take a cut of the price.
