i was on the pill for 2 and a 1/2 months. I came off it after i was bleeding 75% of the time. Me & my boyfriend forgot and had s*x without contraception. I didn't get the morning after pill because to me thats a type of abortion its not contraception. I'm worried i could be pregnant... it says on the test you should wait between 7 - 10 days of being late for your period before taking the test... however my periods have been so erratic lately i have no idea when thats is so what do i do just take a test anyway? serious and helpful answers only please thankyou x

  4. hello you should test at least 19 days after you had s*x.

  5. start taking a test every so often. let's say every 5 to 7 days. that way you'll know soon enough

  6. you can take some tests as early as 1 wk after your missed...but i would take it two weeks...if you are bleeding so much i would be concerned and make a doc's appt asap. the morning after pill is not abortion its not even close it just stops the process in the early stages when the baby is not a baby but just clumps of cells-believe me there is no heart or brain yet-it is not a baby until about 4 wks when a heart actually develops. maybe your body is so out of wack that you most likely did not concieve but i would strongly recommend going to the doctor

  7. If you know when your period is due or have a general idea of when you should exect it then it should be easy to figure out.

It is recommended that you wait until you have missed your period.  I also hear a lot of people say to wait a week afterwards, but that is your choice.

Since your periods are out of whack, go back to the time before you started birth control and use that to know when you should expect your period.  If you don't remember, guestimate.

As far as the morning after pill is concerned, it really depends on the outlook of the person.  What this pill does is prevent a fertilized egg from implanting in your uterus.  You are not pregnant, nor do you have the pregnancy hormone, hCG (detected on a pregnancy test), in your body until implantation.  The morning after pill is a very high dosage of birth control and is made from the exact same ingredients as the birth control pills you were on (assuming they were pills and not injections). :o)

  8. okay, first listen to the instructions cause that is very important, and if you s***w that up, nobody knows what could happen! secondly, see your OBGYN. immediatiely! good luck! =]

  9. Depends on how long you were off the pill. You can always take a urine pregnancy test at any time. If you two had s*x w/o protection, count 2 wks from then - if your periods have been all ove rthe place, most tests can pick up 2 wks after conception. You probably aren't, but just in case. Don't stess, being a woman, we've all had this happen at one point or another. Just breathe. :D

  10. Well first off let me tell you how awesome you are for not taking the "morning pill", I agree with you when it comes to that!  But the best thing to do is to make a doctor's appointment, they can tell you first thing.  If you don't want to do that, then they have the EPT and it tells you pretty early, but you can also just wait it out for about 2-3 weeks that way the test are more accurate.  But if you need anyone to talk to or any questions feel free to contact me, TRUST me I've been through it ALL, when it comes to being pregnant, scare to tell my parents, what will my friends & family think, its stressful, but I'm here!  Check out my "ad" below.  lol

Relationships, pregnancy, dealing with death, ANYTHING.  If I can't help, I'll try to find someone who can!  EVERYTHING IN CONFIDENCE!  Thanks!l   Even if you aren't interested please add me.  I have a lot of teens asking me questions about dating and relationships (one of my blogs:  How can you tell he/she likes me?  THE SURE SIGNS!)  Adults also have relationship questions and life questions, ANYTHING.....  I"m here!

  11. you might have to wait and see if you have a period at all for this month or the next month (whenever you are due) if you don't bleed at all then you should take a test.  you may need to call your OB and let them know what is going on and they may schedule you for a blood test which can detect the pregnancy hormone earlier than a urine test.  good luck!

  12. What you should do is take a test around 4 weeks after the last episode of bleeding that you had. For instance, if the first day of your LMP (last menstrual period) was July 20th, you should take a test around the week of August 20th. For "most" women, you ovulate around day 14-16 of your cycle, and you should be able to tell 2-3 weeks after ovulation with a home pregnancy test. If you do not want to wait and would like to be more certain, I would suggest making an appt with your Dr. and getting a blood test (beta HcG). You should know from that within a day or two.
