I want to put a babysitter ad at the post office (good place in my city) but I'm not sure what to put.

I'm planning on putting the sign up in 4 weeks (because by that time i will be certified to do CPR and use an AED) Now I just need to find a way to form my ad.

Here is what I have:

Im in middle school.

I am AED and CPR certified (well i will be when i put this out)

I have transportation to and from the house.

I can help to prepare most foods.

I LOVE kids.

I'm willing to babysit kids 2 to 10.

I have 2 years of expirience, (4 if you count tagging along with my older sister)

  1. The ad is wonderful!!! I would hire you, but my children are adults. Don't forget to put down info. on what days you are available like weekends or evenings. Weekends and evenings... you should charge a little more. Be sure to make that clear with them at the beginning. You can print out your rates and weekend/evening rates, and all your info. on AED and CPR. It's nice to see a young girl determined to make a little cash for the summer. Very responsible!!

P.S. Be sure to add your name first. Hi, my name is...

When talking or meeting with someone... Please take an adult with you. You may get a crazy person who just may want to get you to their house and have no children, Please be very careful on the info. you give, like your age or that you are a teen. Ask one of your parents to read what you post on your ad and ask for their opinion.

  2. First of all it is not a good idea to make un ad unless you feel that you can protect yourself from everyone and thing. If you are in your teens than you could very easily become trapped and hurt phycially and emotionally. So please be very careful. I would start with the newspaper many people put ad in there when they are looking for after school sitters and so forth!

  3. i think what you have is good.go with it

  4. i made a draft of that once, but remember to add ur phone number, good times to reach u, and who to ask for.

p.s.put I LOVE KIDS first, then that ur certified.
