How should i organize my closet?

it is 80 inches long and 30 inches wide and i share it with my husband

If it is tall enough use 2 rods.  If not, use the standard 1 rod but build simple shelving on both ends and one at the top.  Or buy the closet organizers from Lowes.  Both will work but custom built is best.

My closet is 96 inches long and 36 inches wide.  I built shelves on one end and one on top.  I installed low voltage light tracks on each shelf put simple dividers on the top shelf.  I placed a turn table with 4 shelves on the other end (I lucked in to this buy at a rummage sale) and made custom built slots for her shoes for each season (it's full, each shelf, lol). I have a small section of the closet but hey, I am a guy and she is happy.
