  1. sand with 150 grit paper.  coat with primer, spray can.

paint with flat black paint.  overspray with clear to give shine.

it is called base coat/clear coat.

  2. Clean them well and then use a good brand of spray paint. A black engine enamel would work well, a little pricey but will hold up better.

  3. What I did was i took the wheel, started with a 80 grade sand paper around the back side of the wheel so it is quicker, and then around the front i used a finer sand paper like a 180.  After you do all the wheel, wash it off and let to dry.  Then use like 3 coats of acyclic enamel spray paint.  If you are not replacing the tires after a paint them i would suggest taping around the front side of the rim so you don't spray the tires too.  After the 3 coats, them you can go over with a clear coat about 2 times should do it.  All this paint can be bought at any advanced auto parts or auto zone store.  It takes a while to do each at a time, but it worth it to make the wheels look good.  I would go for a matt black, unless you want the wheels glossy.

  4. u shouldnt
