  1. if you have the time and money i would suggest doing a funky orange but then making it your own with big bright stripes of red and pink! the stripes could be different widths to make it look really cool!

if orange, red, and pink aren't your favorites the same look could  be done with:

    blue, green, and white

    orange, yellow, and pink

or really any combination you choose!

also, if varying widths of stripes don't appeal you could also use the last two colors to do different and varying sizes of polka dots on the first color backdrop :)

  2. Light pink and Light pink

but not the kind of light that stands out

  3. i have a couple different things.

also u can change the wall colors though

  4. I love bright colors! My room is orange, blue and lime green.

Other colors that look good together are:

Orange, yellow, pink for a summary look.

    Orange, yellow

    Orange, pink

    Hot pink, brown

    purple, lime green, aqua

    Any shades of blue altogether

Also, I dont know if your THAT into it but zebra bedding looks really good with bright colored walls.

Good luck and I hope I helped =]

  5. play around with the Sherwin Williams color visualizer to find something that you like. It is the best paint visualizer on the web, imho. I like how their color palette is laid out, I like that you can search by color family & color name, the "painted" rooms look the most realistic, and it suggests coordinating color schemes. You can literally spend hours:

I think a pale purple like "Destiny" (# 6274) would look terrific, and then on the wall behind your bed, paint wide vertical stripes in "luxurious red" (# 6314). This is the kind of striping I'm talking about:

You can also take a photo of your house & upload it to the makeover gallery on this website:

You can get color suggestions & they'll photoshop them onto your room so that you can get an idea of what it will look like.
