I want to clean all the rust underneat my pick u truck the axel its RWD is it ok to paint the axel that spins the back wheels? with rust paint and what should i be care full for also after i clean and paint should i grease everything?

sure you can paint the whole rear axle with no problem and no you don't need to put grease on it after your done, the paint will protect it.
