  1. if its still for sale you reply:

yes it is still for sale the condition of the tv is ___________ there should be an attached photo for you with this email and the last offer i got was 150.

if its not for sale you reply:

    sorry i sold it already

  2. First,

Look out for scammers as this appears to be one. Usually scammers have horrible spelling and grammar. Also, the name in their email does not match the name they sign the email with. Usually if you respond, they respond back saying they want your personal info so they can wire you the money and have their 'associate' pick up the item. Then if you do, they try to empty your bank account. Just ignore these general emails, you will get about 5 of them, sometimes more.

Please read this scams link from Craigslist!!!!

If an email response for a potential buyer does not have a direct contact number, question, or offer, its probably a scam.

Here is how you deal with a real customer. Ask them to call you with questions and then you arrange a time for them to come pick up the TV if they are interested. Always try to speak to someone and meet them in person if possible. You avoid scammers and you can take care of the transaction very quickly.

The only other thing you can do is try to be as descriptive as possible about the condition of the TV and how you want to be paid. Providing clear and detailed photos will help sell your item much faster too. I always recommend flat out cash instead of a check, especially with a smaller amount of money. They way you don't have to deal with the check bouncing.

Also state the TV will be sold in as-is condition so they don't come back asking for a refund if they don't like it.

Just be casual and friendly in the email and remember to use spell check.

    Good luck!
