How should i resolve this problem?

Question

i have down loded yahoo messenger one week back.since then i could not able to scan my pc with mc cafee.

whenever i m trying to scan my whole system it opens yahoo messenger downloading window.And starting again down loading messenger.

it also flashes that u have already installed letest yahoo messenger would u like to install it again?

Thee main problem i am faceing now is that i could not able to scan my p.c.

pls send the resolution

JUST UNINSTALL YAHOO MESSENGER.

Go to control panel add remove programs.  Uninstall the messenger.  Run you scan, afterward you can exit or turn off the Macafee reload then turn it back on.  Macafee doen't play well with others.

Yahoo.messenger will pop up. CLose it first. then scan.

Don't get online first. Do your scan before gettting online.

Go online manualy.

What you should have done was to close MacAfee prior to installing yahoo messenger.  Since you didn't....if after closing IM the scan still won't work you could uninstall the program and reinstall it only after making sure that MacAfee is closed.
