  1. Be sure to visit the Hotel Del Rey, downtown San Jose where the most beautiful women in the world greet you with a "HEY BABY!  WANT SOME COMPANY TONIGHT"?

Then visit the Hotel Diria in Tamarindo Beach which is right on the Beach and a fantastic five star Hotel for only $50 per night!!!!!!

Then - off to Quepos - laid back little fishing village on the pacific side next to one of the most fantastic Parks in Costa Rica - Manuel Antonio and most hotels in and around Quepos offer many, many tours, etc for your entertainment and enjoyment!

In Quepos I would highly recommend Hotel Kamuk again a first rate hotel for $50.00 per night!

You can pull up all of these hotels on their web sites then you will know exactly what you will be getting!

    GOOD LUCK!

BUENA SUERTE Y VIVA LA PURA VIDA!

  2. San Jose = 1 night. That is enough

Quepos / Manuel Antonia Area = 3 nights (rainforest / beach)

Arenal area/ La Fortuna = 3 nights (Volcano, hot springs, rainforest)

    Monteverde Cloudforest (1-2 nights)

That is how I would do it....

  3. San Jose is a dump.

There is a ton to see in Costa Rica.... but none of it is in San Jose. You need to get out of San Jose and see the Volcano's, do a canopy/ZIP tour, go to the beach, explore the jungle, etc.

Dont plan on being in San Jose for 1 minute more then you have to to fly in/out.
