How should i sell/advertise my products?

Question

I'm selling car and room air fresheners. How should I advertise them so that people out there know i'm selling them? right now i'm just asking friends and family if they want to buy them. I wanted to sell them at car washes and detailing services but don't know how. Best Idea Gets 10 Points!!!

If you're serious about this as a business I would recommend starting a website and developing a marketing plan. Make your products/company different from the rest.

well there is always craig's list it's local, or have you asked your local gas station or car wash managers. it's probably best to go to the joe shmoe place first, corporate places are less likely to do it.

News paper adds... make a website... tell your friends... put up small posters around the city... make a youtube account... sell on ebay and make your own online store... go door to door... try lowering the price just a tad... set up a stand at a popular place (walmart, car wash ect)'

What about going into gas stations and asking if you can leave a small box of them on the counter by the till for sale?  Offer them a share of the profit ie, if you sell them for $5 each, pay them $1.  Do you have a local flea market?  Set up a table there for a day.
