I've been with my boyfriend for 8 - 9 months and i really want to have s*x with him. But i dont know how to tell him and what would be the best sexual position to start with. i'm not a virgin and i'm quite a shy person.

Best position?       Separate beds and separate rooms.

From the way you ask your question it does not sound like you are old enough to be thinking about s*x.

I don't know how old you are, but you should start in the missionary position... no reason to reinvent the wheel here!  

I ASSURE you he will be receptive to the idea (he's a guy) and that you have gone 9 months with out "it" is already crazy.  It's time to get to it girl!  Just jump his bones!

Coming out and saying it or bringing it up in conversation could be embarassing for both of you. Why don't you just do what comes natural? Don't just have a porno-centric "Oh let's have s*x now okay?!" then force pressure on him. When you think the moment is right start with a kiss. Usually a heated passionate kiss can lead into whatever both of you are comfortable with. Usually most guys automatically know how to have s*x even if they haven't had it before... if he leads into then let him. If he's not getting the hint... I'm sure you probably know 'ways' to make him understand what you want.

"I want you", usually works, or place your hand in his lap.  Missionary position for the first time.   If it is his first time, don't expect much.  And use a condom.
