  1. Depending on your age you might not even have to tell her. But if you do then she must see what goes on with you while your there. And she must know that it's not normal. I would just sit her down and tell her that you want help and you really think you need to have a psychiatric evaluation done. Especially if you've cut yourself in the past and have been thinking about suicide. I would definately say something to get you the help that you need. Never be afraid to ask for help!! And whatever you do always remember that life is never so bad that you feel like killing yourself is the only way for you to get out of it. Never works.. Believe me I've been there.

    Good luck

  2. If you are an adult you can just go to mental health clinic and get the help you need. If you are a minor maybe you should talk to your step mom, or if you are an adult you still might want her help. Which ever it is, it will be good to have someone be there for you.

When you talk to her, do it calmly. Just tell her how you have been feeling lately, and your negative thoughts. Tell her you know that none of it is right and that you feel that you need some psychiatric help. Keep talking until she or someone else understands what is up with you. I am happy that you do realize that you may need help. Now just go get it.

  3. If you're not old enough to check yourself in and get an eval, just tell your stepmom that you've thought about hurting yourself and you think you might need some help.  Unless she's a total tool, she'll help you.

If you're old enough, just take yourself in.
