How should i train for 200 meters?

I know i should run but is there any speed drills or anything that goes along with the running that i can do?

  1. you should practice 400 and 800 meters. u can also practice on the ladder. you may also do 50 meter sprints!

  3. try your practice in the oval - the international standard size of the oval is good for 400m run, use this as your gauge...just do the 300m run practice and the remaining 100m for walk...this will be your drill...

    run as fast as you can for the first 250 - 300m then slow down walk in the remaining 100m do it 5 time every practice routine..

    do the stretching, walk or jog combination before speed drills. increase your endurance too.

  4. Do some plyometrics then do a ladder of 3x 55m, 3x 100m, 3x 200m, 2x 400m, and 2x800m. Take short quick steps when you sprint the 55-400m. Don't forget to pump your arms from pockets to ears in order to maintain good form.

  5. You need every day morning and evening run, you selected morning in mountain track along with Road, and evening grass ground. than you can make speed in 200 meters.
