  1. def do distance work 5-15 miles a day but you cant beat rough terrain running you need to get used to the jarring.

  2. Do your endurance work now, and worry about speed work during the season. My coach tells us to do that, you don't want an injury before the season even begins. Summer time is for building up your stamina, and if you're running 3-4 miles a day on rough terrain, if you're doing it at a fairly good pace I bet you're already ahead of some other runners that will be on your team. And make sure you're giving yourself one day off a week! Good luck with your first high school season :)

  3. keep doing simple mileage all the way over your summer

    - so keep doing what you are doing

you can run 5 miles but this depends on where you are at the moment:

if its easy for you to maintain a steady pace in your jogs through the week, up the mile by 1 every two weeks

  4. sounds to me like your doing fine for sum1 thats not even in high school yet

  5. 3-4 on a regular day, then in a couple weeks do 4-5

on one day a week do a speed workout of like 6 miles
