My mum has been taken ill, and so i can't get too school. I was thinking i should save her some money as well (i'm 14) and i live in the CountrySide. I was also thinking if i find something good then i can go to school like that forever. My mum doesn't want me to Cycle, because it's acward (trust me, there are hills and i have to go through a motor way) It's just not possible.

I am nearly 15, so is there any transport i can use like a: motorbike/dirtbike, something, anything. It's too long to walk, so that doesn't leave many options.

  1. when your 16 you can drive a scooter under a certain power... i think its like 1100cc... other than that, bus! its not cheap but its seems ur only option, u could maybe see if you can get a season bus ticket as its cheaper that way... or if any school friends live near you ask if they can pick you up for a little money each day.. like 2 pounds.

  2. See if a friend's parent can take you.  Another option would be a bus.

You can't ride a motorbike/dirtbike as you are too young and dirt bikes are not to be ridden on public roads especially motorways.

  3. ask a neighbour to bring you to school or a friends mum/dad

  4. try asking a near by friens to do car share or sumthing or a loca or school bus

  5. If you have to walk more than three miles to school isn't the local authority obliged to provide transport?

    I think you should enquire.

  6. WALK like everyone does.  It was 3 MILES there and 3 MILES back from my old school.

It is ILLEGAL for a 14/15 year old to use a motorbike on the road or any other land WITHOUT second by second direct supervision.

  7. you could buy a bus pass (that's if they sell bus passes in your area ) coz they are the top five money transport savers next to eco friendly stuff like bio diesel.

  8. ask a friend/neighbor to take you, im sure they'll understand.

  9. I know - post the same question again without giving the distance again, and see if you get the same answers - again!

  10. LOL at    I think its 1100cc
