  1. As soon as possible call the local shelters and ask for a wildlife handler or rehabilitator.Call them and bring the bunny to the first one who will take it.You cannot raise a wild baby bunny, especially one who is that young!

It requires extremely educated handling and feeding and may possibly not survive even at that.

  2. You should take it to a vet. They can tell you what you can do and help you deside what  to do with it. If its only a week old it needs to be taken care of with its mother. One other thing is I dont know who a bunny get into a pool. If it has fur its older then a 3 1/2 weeks old.

  3. It's important to know how old the bunny is.  If its eyes are still closed, it is less than ten days old.  Unfortunately, it is very difficult to save a baby rabbit, especially if you've never raised rabbits before.  But if it is still really young, then get a box, fill it with hay and wood shavings, and place the baby there.  You can attempt to feed it via syringe with either cow or cat substitute milk once or twice a day.  Handle it as little as possible.  If you have any other questions, feel free to contact me.  Good luck.

**Edit**  Do not take it to a vet.  There is nothing they can do for it, plus it is very hard to find a vet who can treat rabbits.  And wildlife rehabilitators and organizations have strict guidelines to how they will accept baby animals, since their prognosis is so poor.

  4. if its one week old, its pink and barely has an fur and needs its mother, take it to the vet as soon as possible.

  5. Please, do not ever take a wild rabbit out of the wild. If it was drowning, it was nice of you to get it out of the pool -- but leave it outdoors.

Call your local animal control and they will take care of it. This is NOT a domestic animal and should not be treated as such.

  6. You can't raise a baby bunny on your own. I know, because I once saved a baby bunny from being eaten by a cat when I was 10, and he died in two days. You have to call a vet's office or animal shelter and get it in as soon as possible. In the meantime, have some water for him and keep him safe and warm. Don't expose him to anything that might stress him out, such as loud noises, excessive amounts of people, that kind of thing.
