How should i use the berkley sandworms??

i got Berkley Powerbait becuase i wanted to catch some blues. the worms are called TEQUILLA SUNRISE and they are 8 inches long. i fish from shore and where i fish it is very easy to get snagged in rocks. but there are normally a lot of blues there. big ones to! so i was wondering how i should use them, and if there would be a way to get strikes without getting snagged on the bottom. and if there would be a special way to rig it so i can prevent a snag, but still get bites. thank you
