How should i water my bonsai?

  1. The proper way is to water from the top. If there is glued on gravel as a top dressing, remove it, it's just there so they can be shipped easier to the stores without loosing soil.

    Other than that, you should research what type of tree you have so you can find out it's watering requirements. Some plants need to dry out quite a bit between watering, while some need constant moisture. None should stay soaking wet unless it is a bog plant.
