It's started with: "Dear mr. blahblahblah, Kim and Kris are excited to announce their engagement!! They would be honored if you would set aside june 13th 2009 on your calendar....." And now i'm stuck. Should it end with, "on your calendar to join in their something or another" UGH! i'm so stuck

  1. Save the Date cards are usually a lot more simple:

    "SAVE THE DATE

    June 13th 2009

    for Kim and Kris'

    Wedding!"

...and generally, unless the wedding is on a holiday or a destination wedding, the cards are not needed.  I know they're "cool" and "nifty" or whatever, but save the money...

  2. This is what mine said:

    Our day is fast approaching

    and we can hardly wait.

We hope that you can join us,

    so please save the date!

    our names

    wedding date

    Worked for us!

  3. "please save June 13th 2009 on your calender, as they join together as one in love and unity"

  4. Please come and help them celebrate a life of love together.
