  1. Not sure if you are male or female, but the Photographer should have some suggestions.

If male, I once read, that even if you are requested to come with Stubble/beard hair, bring a shaver, as often they want to see a Clean Canvas as it were.

  2. the goal of a headshot is to be authentic representation of yourself, wear you hair the way you normally do, wear make up only to cover blemishes, keep it natural and fresh looking, if you want to try a variety of looks consider either something glamorous or athletic or ultra-hip, most photographers will do a series of looks with you, prices will depend on your location and the photographers experience.

  3. Yeah, my Mom is putting make-up for mine, and I am only 12 yrs old!! You should! :) [Just don't go OVERBOARD!!] Also, wear your hair in a pretty way :P :) I am wearing mine down!!

  4. You should look like you will look when you walk through the door to the casting agent.

This means your headshot must look like you, not some glorified or prettified version of you.

Keep your hair down so they can see the length of it.

You can wear make-up  but only if you normally wear make-up - but nothing crazy, keep it very subtle. Absolutely no party make-up!  You must look your age! Don't try to look older or more sophisticated than you really are, they love actors who look young.

...and simple wardrobe too! You don't want people to look at your clothes when they should be looking at YOU.

  5. yes you can get two , and just wear your hair down .

and you need to go to a photographer place to get a free evaluation they'll tell you how much it will be.
