How should one respond to everyday situations with a love one (Wife of 55.6 years). ?

She asks about her Mother & Father, continually. Both deceased. Mood swings are primarily directed at me. She cries uncontrollably for no reason.

She needs to see a doctor as it sounds like some sort of dementia setting in.  Some types are treatable with medication and others just have to run their course.  Love her, answer her questions and be there for her.  She will have lucid moments and wonder what's going on and she may be aware of the times she 'checks out' and is scared.
