Question:

How should the al-Aksa Mosque be dismantled and removed?

The al-Aksa Mosque is based upon a ridiculous myth. Apparently mohammed was conveyed to the place where the mosque is today, in Jerusalem, one night, on the back of al-Buraq, a magical horse with the head of a woman, wings of an eagle, the tail of a peacock, and hoofs reaching to the horizon (I'm not making this up). He tethered the horse to the Western Wall of the Temple Mount and from there ascended to the seventh heaven together with the angel Gabriel. On his way he met the prophets of other religions who are the guardians of heaven: Adam, Jesus, St. John, Joseph, Idris (= Seth?), Aaron, Moses and Abraham who accompanied him on his way to Allah and who accepted him as their master. Thus Islam tries to gain legitimacy over other, older religions, by creating a scene in which the former prophets agree to Mohammad's mastery, thus making him Khatam al-Anbiya' ("the Seal of the Prophets").

It should also be noted that the koran never even mentions Jerusalem so to assume that mohammed meant Jerusalem as the setting for his fairy tale dream is a bit of a stretch.

Now that we have established that the principles upon which the al-Aksa mosque was built are unfounded its time to return Jerusalem to the Jews and dismantle the al-Aksa mosque but how?

  1. There are enough problems between Palestinians and Israelis as it is. Do you really want to make things a thousand times worse by destroying one of Islam's most holy sites? Even if you don't agree with the reason it's there, the fact of the matter is it IS there and that IS what Muslims believe. You don't have to like it, but there needs to be a better reason than you not liking it to destroy the third holiest site of the world's second largest religion and a 1300 year-old historical site.

  2. he had some ego

all the other prophets accepted him as their master on the way to heaven - why would they need him? wouldn't God be enough even for him?

it seems to be that it is just a convenient way to be provocative and a way of antagonising the christians and the jews

they could send one of their supporters who like to dismantle things quickly .......

  3. I don't know how it will happen, but the mosque will come down and the Temple will be built.  God's will be done, not allah's.

There have ALWAYS been Jews in Israel.  There has NEVER been a country called Palestine.

  4. Tear all mosques down and build houses for the poor and teach them birth control.

  5. and u  ignorant ppl wonder why ppl hate america.... thats like asking ppl when the statue is liberty should be removed. moron.

  6. You keep making the mistake of assuming the Jews lived in Palestine ALONE which is not true . When Muslims came to Jerusalem , Jews were already banished by the Roman empire AND guess what race the ruler of Jerusalem was from ? His name was Sophronius , go look up what race he belonged to .You will be surprised , but not happily . Also , the Muslims then proceeded to opening Jerusalem to Jews .

    EDIT

The claim of Mohamed is no less preposterous than the claim by Jews that some God appeared to them while they were in the desert of Sinai and promised them the rich land of Canaan , which DID NOT BELONG TO THEM . Canaan was inhabited by Canaanites and Pheonicians who were highly civilized and contributed to the world's civilization in many ways .
