Now with DNA testing the judicial system is releasing inmates who have spent 20 years or more incarserated for a crime they did not committ. Do you feel they should be compinsated and if so how?

  1. They can run for President and stand on the Pity Pot like John McCain does.  They won't have to know a thing about policies, politics, or issues.  Just cry in front of the audience that you were in a cage and tell people to vote for you.  Works for John McCain and the idiots that follow him.

  2. You bet I do and why not.

Twenty years is a looooooooooog time.  So much was lost that can never be recovered in that person life. They will get to pick up the pieces.

I just hope that they get rewarded abundantly

  3. Absolutely they should, and in most cases they are.  We often hear about such cases and the now innocent people compensted by millions of $ and rightly so.  Cheers!!

  4. There was a news article not too long ago, a guy went to prison for around 12 years all the while pleading he was innocent

Through DNA testing he was found innocent

and the state payed him over 280,000$ for his time in prison.

So yea, recompensating them by paying them the average yearly salary sounds like a good idea.

Yearly average salary X years spent wrongfully in Prison

  5. I don't know that you could really put a price on everything that they lost for that.   I do feel they should be compensated some how but trying to figure out how is beyond me.
