How should the people of a powerful nation be?

Poverty, unemployment etc are common issues in almost all countries. But what qualities of people make a nation powerful.

They should be free to dress and practise the religion of their choice

They should be responsible with the rest of the world citizens and do something to distribute the wealth in a way that brings justice and equality to human kind.

They should be leaders to a better world

Hard working people with time to protest that's what America needs and the sooner the better or we'll all be standing in soup lines it can happen again friends!
