My boyfriend and I have lived together for over a year now and we have gotten used to most of the little quirks that we each have. We usually agree about everything. But there is a new situation that drives us both crazy. He wants to save money on electricity but he wants to do it by unplugging EVERYTHING in the house when we aren't using it. I'm all for saving energy but its really starting to get annoying. I really hate having to plug my alarm clock, lamp and computer back in every time I want to use it. What is a good way for us to save electricity without unplugging everything in the house?

  1. For the light bulbs you should switch energy saving ones(those cool little swirly ones)!

    or

Unplugging everything this inst necessary (hairdryer, etc.) and keep things plugged in that are necessary (Alarm clock, etc.)

Also, you should ask him to do a bit of an experiment, For one month, do things his way by unplugging everything, for the next month do thing your way, and see if there is a significant difference r=in regards with money.

  2. hook everything up to a serge and only have 1 shut off for a bunch of things. use your cell phone as an alarm clock.
