When dealing with strangers in the public, are you wary or distant? Are you the same at home as you are when you are out? Or do you think 'You never know, those people could be ax murderers' and keep your blinders on?

Thanks for your intelligent answer!

  1. Whenever possible be friendly, but never familiar.

  2. be polite and calm. Be friendly, use your manners(please, thank you) and  be respectful and courteous. Also, when your on a date, be sure not to only talk about your self.

Smile and have a great day!

  3. At home you could act more relaxed.

Usually in public people sophisticated people act respectful towards other's space.

Usually people do talk to strangers. And if a strangers comes up to you, it's polite to talk back to them =]

when i'm out in public i respect other's space

if they look like they'll be mean to me. I stay away from them, but if their looks are nice or something i'll talk to them

    but you never know right?

  4. Like a  sober  DRUNK!!...   half   aware..  half  innocent!

  5. 1) depends what type of strangers.. old lady or chav?

    2) no im not im much more independent

    3) yes i do

  6. You said it: you never know.

So... In public people should be respectful and courteous. The way you are in your home is going to be similar to the way you are out, but more laid back obviously.

In public people should watch their behaviour a littel more closely. Not revealing private information over the phone while standing in a group of people, or making sure people are'nt looking over your shoulder as you punch in your PIN number at the register, etc.

But I think overall people should be courteous. Why not?
