How should you punish a child for doing wrong?

or should you only reward a child for doing right, and all other actions you ignore?

  1. I get grounded for doing wrong, nothing for doing right, and if I do something amazingly good I get whatev I want up to a 100 dollars. lol:D


  2. It depends on the child, the age of the child,  and what he did 'wrong.'  "Punishment" might range from expression of disapproval to "natural consequences" to paying for damages  to loss of privaleges to grounding/spanking/calling the police.

  3. well i have never hit my son and he is nearly 15 he knows the look and voice that if i get mad then he has done wrong with my stare and voice i don't agree with hitting children but then again if they do wrong they need to know and my son has turned out fine he wants to be a doctor so it's not done him any h arm not being hit.
