How shuuld i take caree of tropical foliage plant when its some leaves turn brown ?

I have a couple of tropical foliage plants which i have kept indoor well lighted area, lately I h ave noticed that some of the leaves has turned brown. Does this mean the plant won't survive ? Can i do something about it?

the leaves are turning brown because you are over watering the plant.stick your finger in the soil about 1/2 an inch if the soil is wet do not water or moist if the plant feels dry water and it should survive.
