    Distortion of radio signals is not important, since the receiver will tune out any harmonics generated.

    Since the information is modulated onto the radio (RF) signal, distortion is not an issue here also.

    Data loss is taken care of by checksum type of corrections, and by redundancy and handshake protocols.

    Radio is the transmission of signals, by modulation of electromagnetic waves with frequencies below those of visible light. Electromagnetic radiation travels by means of oscillating electromagnetic fields that pass through the air and the vacuum of space.
