How significant was humanism for high renaissance art?

how significant humanism was for the shaping of high renaissance art.

It was pretty significant.  Although, not in the same way that it would be later --because other things were more important in high renaissance art:  form, content, structure, patterns of portrayed items. . .

I personally believe that this time period of art was highly influenced by asian painting --which utilized multiples of objects and high depth layers in one piece.

It might help you to try to find a definition you can understand of humanism.  I've used children's books and the idiot's guides on painting and it's helped me a lot to start my understanding from the ground up.  Maybe get some at the library on this topic and see if they help you to understand it a little more?
