How small is a 450 square foot studio apartment?

Will I be able to fit a bed, dresser, desk, and small sofa in it?

It would be smaller than a minimum frills two car garage, if you can envision that.

You could fit a bed (futon would be best so you can have a place for company to sit), dresser, will you have a fridge?- those take up a lot of room. And maybe a bookshelf or desk but I would guess not more than that. Hopefully thats not including your bathroom/kitchen. If you don't have much stuff you could do it. I did in college, and I recall that I became very talented at stacking things. Good Luck with your house hunt.

An 18 ft. x 25 ft. room is 450 sq.ft., or a 15 ft. x 30 ft. room is 450 sq.ft., so imagine rooms of that size for an idea of how much space you'll have.   Your furnishings will fit unless the apartment has some kind of crazy weird wall arrangement.
