I'm just wondering how smart your kids are or what they can do for their age. My daughter is very advanced for her age, but I'm not going to put details on because then I'd be bragging. What cute or amazing things can your little one do?

  1. Can identify all of the ABC's, count to 30, and write her name.  She also composes music.  I'm trying really hard not to brag, but she is just so smart, and cute.  Everyone adores her.  She has the best disposition and is always happy.  Also, she is very obedient, but has lots of common sense, so we don't have to direct her too much.  Her favorite thing for me to do, is play with her, so I'm going to stop wasting my time on Y!A and go hold her or play with her right now!  She is the most special, but very humble.

  2. my 21 mo old is repeating just about everything we say!!! she understands so much. she is almost completely potty trained(daytime) and wakes up dry almost every morning. she is very independent and wants to try to do everything on her own!! she can dress and undress herself, she plays picture bingo, puts together toddler puzzles, and loves to draw and color. she is the youngest "neat freak" i have ever known!!! she will let you know where your shoes, dirty clothes, toys, etc belong. she is so funny and amazes us everyday!!!

  3. My 8 year old daughter is passed every single reading test her teacher had to offer and is reading somewhere above fifth grade level.  My 24 month old son on the other hand doesn't say a word.   I suppose he says, mamamamama.

  4. This is a prime example of why most parents suck to be around.

  5. my 13 month old say 14 words and one "sentance" he says " Aye Lob you" or I Love You. he walks and runs, climbs, jumps, dances, calls the dog, pretends to read, understands simple comands( come here, uh-uh, out of your mouth)

  6. my daughter is very advanced for her age as well. she can count to 10 by herself. she sings twinkle twinkle little star row row row your boat, and she sings patty cake and some of the lyrics to the song apologize from one republic. for some reason she took on to that song. she has chores that she dont mind doing. like cleaning off the coffee table, throwing her diapers away and making sure her sippy cup is never on the floor. she knows just about every animals sound. and easily 60+ words. her vocabulary is huge. she is an amazing little girl. and girls do advance faster than most boys so dont be surprised mom.  you are doing a good job!

  7. My 23 month old is too clever for her own good.  She was talking very early and now forms multiple word sentences (up to about 5 or 6 words).  She has an incredible memory that absolutely astounds me.  She knows all her colours, is potty trained and already asks "why?"  Even her play seems so intelligent, as she loves to make-believe either by dressing up or playing doctor or cook.  She's cute and she knows it!  That being said, she's seems so uncoordinated compared to her peers (not to the point of concern), has no interest in dressing herself and can't sit down long enough to be bothered to do a puzzle!  I think toddlers develop at their own pace and in their own way.  While my daughter is developing early language and imaginative play skills, many of her peers are mastering independent tasks of riding trikes and dressing themselves.  So whose to say a child is advanced or not.

  8. My 24 month old likes to climb out of her crib and come lay in bed with me. Freaks me out because she ususally does this at about 3 am and I'm out cold! Next thing I know there is a little warm body in the bed with me. She just started doing this last saturday since my husband left town for work.
