  1. The SAT isnt purely a measure of intelligence, but of your test taking skills as well. However being good at Math and English are pretty essential.

  2. animal c is right. its about how you take the test, not how smart you are.

  3. whoever said you;d be in the 61st percentile is not very intelligent.. the people that say oh it doesn't measure intelligence just do bad on ti and then make excuses... to answer your question it is hard to get a perfect score (i assume you meant 1600 or 2400)

  4. The SAT is NOT a measure of intelligence. You can be a 4.0 student and score horribly on the SAT.

The SAT is just about how you STUDY for it, and how you LEARN to get across the really tricky questions. Because the SAT contains NOTHING you learn in school, really. Except maybe some algebra problems.

  5. Not that smart.

  6. did you mean to ask how hard it is to get a perfect score? If so, then its extremely hard and only 269 people did it last year out of the approximately 1.5 million who took the sat. if you just meant a 1600 out of 2400 then that score is in the 61 percentile, or just above average
