  1. I have one, and it is quite smooth, all the way from zero to 105mph. Do you know if your vibration is from the engine or from the drivetrain or from the tires? If someone told me that a new bike was vibrating at 55, I'd want to look at the tires first. They may not be seated in the bead correctly, or they may be out of round.

I'd take it back to the dealer to check it out in any case if it is a new bike. This is not normal.

  2. Hi,

Without knowing exactly where you are feeling the vibration, the engine is  a 45 degree vtwin. It will vibrate somewhat more than other engine configurations. Several things can be done to attenuate the vibration for you. 1 tooth higher on the front sprocket will lower  the engine speed at 55mph,the speed you mentioned.Next "Bar Snake" will dampen vibration in the handle bars.A gel or other seat cover may help. Depending on construction of foot pegs, perhaps they could be filled with lead shot and acrylic to help there.

It is hard to know what a bike will be like after only a short test drive prior to buying it.

The engine design has some benefits ,such as good torque ,broad power band and fuel economy ,relatively.

         Best of luck, Pennswoodsed.

The 805 cc engine in your bike actually has offset crank pins for the connecting rods to address this.
