  1. If you want to have a relaxing room you may want to try neutral colors for the walls, rug, and window treatments. Then add a color to bring it alive but not in an over the top way. I'd say add a color, say pink, in  the pillows, knick knacks, lamps, the design on the comforter, etc. This way when the lights go out it will give that relaxing feeling and then in the day light the pink, or whatever color you choose, will pop.

    Hope this helps!

  2. you could try purple paris chic

you could paint only one wall a royal purple.

and have a mannequin on the side of the bed.

there is lots of very modern, cheap furniture at ikea.

    www.ikea.com

you could have a purple comforter and

have your pillows be white and silver.

or, you could have a white, silver, or cream comforter and your pillows could be purple.

she could have a cute black or white desk with a purple lamp or something,

and she could hang black and white photos of the eiffel tower, and other sites.

    bean bag?

    or modern chair?

    whatever you like :)

    just ideas :)

  3. Less pink.  It's probably too overwelming.  You shouldn't make your entire room pink.  Add in a pink accent color to balance it out.

  4. add random darker colors to balance it out..

if its light pink maybe brown..

if its dark pink.. black. its bold but it looks good!

maybe purple or lavender if you want something colorful but more subtle!

you can message me back if you have more questions =] i love stuff like this!!
