We applied frontline plus to my cat and before the month is over, he's scratching and fleas come out of him. I'm afraid to reapply too early.

  1. I think after 3 weeks it is safe to reapply. Call the company to make sure. I used Frontline on my dog 2 years ago and was eat up with fleas. Fleas can build up a resistance to chemicals over time. For some it works and others it doesn't.

  2. The Frontline didn't really wear off, it's just that the flea infestation in your house is too overwhelming...

Don't just treat your cat, you need to get rid of the fleas in your carpet with a fogger...Please choose one that says "residual" on the can...This will keep any flea eggs from hatching..

You can't just kill the fleas on your cat..They're in your house and will attack your cat again just as soon as the Frontline even slightly starts to wear of..

  3. no more then once a moth.

frontline only kills the fleas that bite him. if you have a million fleas in your house, he still gets bit a million times. you have to kill the fleas at the source. frontline only prevents him from bringing fleas inside that breed.
