when you get a tattoo you shouldn't be sunbaking cause it will cause the tattoo to fade always use sunscreen.

ignore guest 6122  he's got no clue! people get fake tans  for a reason and that's because they know the damage that the sun can cause. obviously you've never lost someone to cancer so keep your stupid remarks to yourself. To answer the question from someone that has experince in this field once you get a tattoo because it is an open wound you must keep it clean from any dirt or impurities or otherwise you can risk infection. also because the tan stains the colour of the skin this can also cause the colour of the tattoo to become stained and therefore will change the appearance and or colour of the tattoo. If youre not sure if its completly healed and to play it safe maybe go show the tattoo artist  and see what he advises. Each tattoo heals differently and each area of the body heals at a different pace. I waited 3 weeks for mine  hope this helps :)
