How soon after setting should a hen begin laying eggs again?

It really depends on the hen, and the weather, and the males available. If the hen hatches all of her eggs, then a few weeks later she will be ready to go again. Our hens just had a lot of chicks, and they are always following the chicks around. They constantly have to fend off roosters. Generally though, hens will lay eggs all the time, fertilized or not.  It also depends on the weather, if its too cold a hen probably wont want to lay eggs. Since its summer though, in a few weeks she should have more.
