Our baby corn snake just shed his skin for the first time since we have had him. he hasnt eatin since last wednesday and when we have offered it to him he just doesnt seem interested. i was thinking that he didnt want to eat because he was due to shed. now that he has shed his skin he is a lot more active and actually spending time outside of his hide. how soon after shedding will he want to eat and how soon after shedding can we handle him?

  1. Right away to both questions. And yes, snakes usually won't accept prey if they're about to shed.
