  1. Wait until she is a few years old i think, otherwise it just looks common and chavvy.

  2. You should wait until she gets her first shots.

  3. About 6 months, up until then their ears are too small

  4. I BELIEVE IT WAS 3 TO 4 MONTHS OLD.

  5. i totally agree with Mommyluv!

    What a totally selfish idea!!!

I am sure your little baby doesn't want her ears pierced and i think you should sit down and think about why you want them done, so people will say "ahh thats cute!!"

Never mind the pain and the risk of infection....as long as she looks cute!

Ear piercing in babies looks totally tacky and very chavvy but if this is the image you want to give a small innocent little baby then good luck to you.

Just not quite sure you will get "mum of the year award!"

  6. Most places that do piercings require that the child be 6 weeks old.

  7. Why would you want to put your baby through unnecessary pain and discomfort? Plus there is the risk of infection and once she notices they are there, you have to worry about her ripping them out. I am waiting until my daughter is old enough to ask for them. I also think that earrings look tacky on little babies.

  8. You should wait until she has her first shots for sure.

Here is my opinion about ear piercing, as the mom of 3 daughters...

I waited until my girls were old enough to make the decision themselves because it is THEIR EARS. My sister never wanted hers pierced. She has psoriasis and was afraid of having a problem. She got this on her ears often when she was younger. My daughters were old enough to clean them, take care of them, etc... I also didn't want them going to school (grades k-3) and having someone rip their ear. This happened to a couple of girls I knew and it was awful! I think once they are say 8-12 yrs old is plenty soon enough. I wanted my little girls to be able to play and be active and be little girls without the worry of earrings.

My daughters were between 10-12 when they had theirs done and I never regretted it. Not once. They never begged me to have it done any sooner than this either. They watched friends go through infections and wanted no part of that!

It's up to you, but I would never have a baby's ears pierced. They are beautiful without jewelry! Hope I could help! It needs to be your decision - you're the mom!

  9. between 3-4 months, but i'm waiting for my daughter to be able to tell me if she wants them done, i really want them peirced but i want it to be something she wants to do because its her body, and im scared that she will tear them out

  10. My little one is nearly 6 mths and i plan to get them done next week...

If you get them done at the ped's office it will be alot safe and les painful 4 the little one.

  11. i'm planning to get my daughter pierced when she will be 3 months.
