I'm going into my least year of high school and beginning the college application process. Can I apply for - and possibly receive - scholarships before I've chosen a college to attend?

Yes you can. You can apply for independent scholarships, which you can find at sites like www.fastweb.com, or scholarships offered by the college(s) you're applying to. Check your college's website to see what scholarships they offer, and whether you have to fill out a separate application, or whether you're considered automatically based on your admissions application. You don't have to know which college you're going to to apply for scholarships from the colleges, so fill out as many scholarship applications as you can! Good luck!
