How soon did your period come back after a miscarriage?

I had a miscarriage 5 weeks ago when I was almost 12 weeks pregnant. I am still waiting for my first period to show up since the miscarriage, and just wondered for those of you who have had one, how soon did your next period come? Thanks

I'm sorry to hear about your miscarriage, they are very traumatic and something that no one should have to go through!

My last miscarriage was in august 06 and i was completely devastated as you would imagine. I think i had my first period about 9 weeks afterwards. If you are concerned at all go to the Dr's. ive known peopel to go months and months without a period afterwards its not uncommon.
