I've heard 7 days after beginning them..or one month. And some say 3 months. So confused! Oh and I was just given prescription for MIRCETTE if that helps for info.. it's a low-dose combination pill. I asked this in other categories... still getting quite an array of answers..it's quite frustrating. I'll ask my doc..but thx for input!!

  1. It takes approximately one month for the pills to kick in..

  2. Nuva Ring only takes 7 days - might be an easier option

  3. The best thing is to ask your doctor correct.

I am just starting on the pills and was told a month.

If you miss or skip a pill and such you should have a back up plan for a week so you don't get pregnant. But, like I said the best thing is to ask you doctor because it may vary from different prescriptions.

    Good Luck.!!

  4. I am almost positive that you have to be on it for a full month for it to be effective

  5. you have to be on for one full month for them to work fully

  6. It takes one full cycle of pills.
