How soon do you know you are pregnant?

I had unprotected s*x with my bf last week and he came in me. We just started having s*x. I was supposed to start my period this week but have not. My periods have been regular lately. I have not gotten my usual symptoms of sleepiness, cramping, and breaking out before starting. I already know there is a very high chance of me being pregnant. But my question is is me not having my period too soon to detect since it was only last week...and when can I take a test to know for sure? Thanks!

  1. try and wait a couple of weeks to see what happens

but try first reponse cuz according to the commercial they can tell you if your pregnant a week before your missed period!

  2. ask your mom, if you don't know this by now,you shouldn't be having s*x.  you must be a teen!  keep your pants on! how can you expect to find a decent man sleeping around?  have you ever heard the phrase 'why buy the cow when the milk is free"?

  3. u ovulate for 14 days (2 weeks) and u should take a pregnancy 19 days after having unprotected s*x in order to be sure u are pregnant.

Also , if it happened only a week ago...it's too early to know..like i said..u will only probably see and feel symptoms after a few weeks.

    Hope that helps.

  4. Wait 2-4 weeks after intercourse and take a test. If you are going to have s*x at least use protection. If you play with fire you are going to get burned. Please if you insist on having s*x use protection.

  5. Well, if your period is late, then you can probably test. If it is negative then give it a few more days and retest if your period doesn't show by then. And if all else fails, you can get a blood test from the doc.

  6. If you missed your period, there's a realllllly good chance you're preggers. Instead of guessing, just get a prego-test, it's not that hard.
